Health Reference Center

Are you tired of wading through the questionable content of Internet sites in your search for health and wellness information? Or are you a student looking for peer-reviewed medical articles for your class assignments? Using Health Reference Center, you can access nearly 200 medical journals and consumer health magazines from the comfort of your home computer.

Choose “more search options” on Health Reference Center search page if you want to limit your results to “full text,” which means that the entire article is available for you to read right now! Articles that are not available in full text can be requested through your local library. If you are looking for information from professional medical journals only, choose “peer-reviewed publications” when you search. If you would like information presented in audio or video format, do your search first, and then click on the “multimedia” tab at the top of the results page to see what’s available.

Several medical reference books are also available to you online through the Health Reference Center, including the PDR Family Guide to Prescription Drugs and The Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine.
