Fines - $5.00 per day
Replacement fee - $150.00

Overdue fines for late items are $.25 per item per day.

Check-out privileges are blocked when fines and charges exceed $10.00.

After 30 days overdue, an item is considered lost and a replacement charge is assessed to the patron's record.

If accounts reach $25.00 or more, they are assigned to a collection agency.

If you cannot find the title you would like to borrow, ask us about
Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Books may be returned to any branch of the Butte County Library. Each branch (except Biggs) has a 24-hour book drop. We prefer that oversize items be returned inside the library, and not in the book drop, to avoid damage to items.
