The work, located in the County of Butte, shall consist of but not limited to furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and transportation for the implementation of traffic controls, preparation of asphaltic surfaces, as necessary, and the application slurry seal and microsurfacing on various County roads and bicycle paths. Application of bituminous seals and aggregate shall conform to Section 37-2, “Slurry Seal” of the California Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, May 2006 and these Special Provisions, unless otherwise specified herein.
The slurry seal and microsurfacing shall be placed on the pavement surfaces as shown on the maps included in these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer.
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the Director of Public Works, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012.
