Oro Bangor Highway Rehabilitation

Description of Project:
The work location begins at approximately 1150-feet north of Whitehall Ravine, which is located just north of the Town of Bangor, on Oro Bangor Highway, and runs approximately 2.0 miles to 865 feet south of Swedes Flat Road. Project tasks, in general, involve: grading and shaping sub grade for shoulders; grinding the existing asphalt surface, including an additional 3-inch layer of aggregate, to a depth of 13" while mixing and processing Portland cement as an additive; treating the roadway base with cold foamed asphalt; paving to finished grade with 3 inches of Asphalt Concrete on the entire roadway; re-shaping, cleaning, and grading the finished shoulders and ditches; and placing thermoplastic traffice stripes and reflective pavement markers.

The Plans as posted in PDF format are most nearly printed to scale on a 24" x 36" sheet size where the following Adobe Acrobat settings are used:
1. Choose paper source by PDF page size.
2. Page Scaling set to "none".
All other settings will result in an incorrect or reduced scale.
**There have been questions regarding guardrail. Guardrail height adjustment will be covered per Section D, Summary of Work, Sub Section B, various iteems of work. Bid it as you see it.
