Lincoln Boulevard Sideway Project
Description of Project:
The Butte County Department of Public Works anticipates an on-going need for the services of a firm specializing in the Appraisal and Acquisition of right of way for its road and bridge projects. The Department intends to use this Request for Qualifications and Proposal to select a firm to provide said services for a period of time not to exceed three years and envisions negotiating an agreement that allows for “tasks” to be ordered under the terms of the agreement. Each “task” will be a separate project. As these projects can be funded from a variety of sources, including federal, state and or local funds, the selected firm must be able to provide services such that all project and funding requirements are met.
Proposals are due February 1, 2013, at 10:30 am at the Butte County Department of Public Works Office at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965.

The County has received a question concerning the funding of this project and a potential scheduling issue. Our response to this question is as follows:
- There is a Federal component in the funding source of the Lincoln Blvd. project, funding is coming through the HSIP program. Getting environmental clearance has been a delaying factor on this project. While we originally wanted to get a ROW Cert by the end of summer, our current goal is to be able to go to construction in late spring of 2014.
- The County is dealing with the environmental issues associated with this project and does not foresee the need for the consultant selected under this proposal to include this work.
